AD Volume Type Distributor

The AD Volume Type Distributor is a compact grease metering block for awkward mountings and tight pipe runs. Built with 2, 3, 4 or 6 outlets, each metering 0.1, 0.2 or 0.4 cc per cycle, working between 2.5 and 5.5 MPa on NLGI 0#, 00# and 000# grease.
How it works
The AD is derived from the patented RH volumetric distributor and re-bodied around installation and piping constraints: the metering principle is the RH's, the envelope is not.
Construction is vibration-resistant and every unit is tested at assembly, which is what a chassis or a railway vehicle application needs. Hole centres are 50 mm across all four sizes, so one drilling pattern covers the whole family and a two-outlet block can be replaced by a six-outlet block without re-machining.
Each outlet is set to 0.1, 0.2 or 0.4 cc per cycle at manufacture, quoted in outlet order as part of the model number.

Dimensions
Overall size and hole centres are in the model table above. Ask us for the dimensioned drawing before machining a mounting.
How to read the order code
- Type
- AD
- Outlet count
- 2 · 3 · 4 · 6
- Dose per outlet, in outlet order
- 10 = 0.1 ml · 20 = 0.2 · 30 = 0.3 · 40 = 0.4 ml/cyc
- One dose code only
- Every outlet takes that dose: AD230 is two outlets at 0.3 ml
Before you order
- 2.5 – 5.5 MPa working range. Below 2.5 MPa the distributor will not complete its stroke and points will be starved without any visible fault.
- The pump must have a pressure take-off device. Without pressure relief the piston never returns and no dose is delivered.
Warranty
One year against manufacturing defect from date of invoice.
How it pairs
The AD Volume Type Distributor is commonly specified alongside the AP Type Motor-Driven Grease Pump and the PJ Series Motor-Driven Grease Pump. That is the same recommendation carried on its own datasheet, not a generic same-category suggestion.
