Lubrication for Injection Moulding Machines
Tie bars, toggle pins and platens on horizontal and vertical machines: oil or semi-fluid grease, metered per point and re-metered every cycle.

The lubrication circuit
Oil · System 02
Pressure volumetric system
Tie bars and toggle pins resist flow, so the dose is driven to the point at pump pressure.
Build
TZ or HL pump with pressure take-off + 34 / 35 type distributors
Dose
0.03 – 0.6 ml per outlet, per cycle
Pressure
8 – 15 kgf/cm² (oil) · 30 – 40 kgf/cm² (grease)
Pump pressure itself drives the distributor piston, so the dose arrives at the point at line pressure rather than at spring pressure. Needed where the point resists flow.
Grease · System 02
Middle pressure system
The middle pressure class, which is where the grease catalogue places moulding machines.
Build
PJ pump or NKGH manual pump with take-off + 35 type pressure volumetric distributors
Dose
NLGI 000# to 0#
Pressure
10 – 16 MPa
The pump pressure drives the piston in each volumetric distributor, delivering the stored, metered dose to the point. The pump then stops and its pressure take-off valve relieves the line; the distributor re-meters and re-stores, ready for the next cycle.

Core circuit products

Pressure-type volumetric distributor metering 0.03 – 0.16 ml per outlet per cycle at 8 – 12 kgf/cm². For small CNC machines and light-duty multi-point oil circuits.

Pressurised volumetric distributor, 2 to 6 outlets at 0.1 – 0.6 ml per cycle. Oil at 12 – 15 and NLGI 00#/000# grease at 30 – 40 kgf/cm².

Motor-driven oil lubrication pump, 2 L or 4 L reservoir, 110 – 260 ml/min at 15 kgf/cm². Higher volumetric flow than the TZ, for circuits carrying more points.

Motor-driven oil lubrication pump, 2L or 4L reservoir, 1.5 MPa rated, 110-260 ml/min. Timer, dual-timer and NK-3 variants for CNC and injection moulding.

Motor-driven grease pump, 2L or 4L reservoir, 260-300 cc/min for NLGI 00#/000# grease. Pairs with 35 Type volumetric distributors for centralised lubrication.

Tank-type grease pump rated 8.0 MPa at 20 mL/min, with 0.3 to 2.5 L reservoirs. Two builds: with pressure relief for volumetric circuits, without for progressive.

Compact thin-oil pump with level switch and optional microcomputer control, for small and medium machines that need less pump than a TZ.

Hand-lever oil pump delivering 8 or 16 cc per stroke at 15 – 25 kgf/cm², in resist-type and volumetric builds. Needs no electrical supply at all.

Frequently asked questions
Oil or grease on tie bars, platens and toggle pins?
Both are catalogued, and the choice sets the whole circuit. On oil, a TZ or HL pump with a pressure take-off feeds 34 or 35 type distributors at 8 – 15 kgf/cm². On grease it is the middle pressure class: a GM or PJ pump with a take-off feeding 35 type pressure volumetric distributors on NLGI 000# to 0#, at 10 – 16 MPa.
What does a 35 type distributor deliver per point?
0.1 to 0.6 ml per outlet per cycle, in 2, 3, 5 and 6 outlet blocks. Action guarantee pressure is 12 – 15 kgf/cm² on oil and 30 – 40 kgf/cm² on grease, recommended viscosity 20 – 500 cst, grease grade 00# / 000#.
Does the pump have to have a pressure take-off?
On a volumetric circuit, yes. The pump must have a pressure take-off mechanism. Without pressure relief the piston never returns and no dose is delivered. Progressive blocks are the opposite case: they want the same pumps built without pressure relief.
What does the GM grease pump put out?
260 – 300 cc/min of NLGI 00# / 000# grease from a 2 L or 4 L reservoir. Paired with 35 type pressurised volume distributors it raises system pressure to 35 kgf/cm², with the pressure switch acting at 30 kgf/cm². A 24 VDC level switch and that pressure switch report to the machine PLC on standard terminals.
